Hi! Thanks for visiting our site. My name is Amanda and I'm the proud other half of Design by Adrian Lorenzo. DBAL is currently a two person team with the occasional freelancer. Adrian produces the art and over sees our social media accounts. My job is to handle everything else that entails running a business from day-to-day operations to forging new connections with potential clients and partners.
I have professional experience in hospitality, corporate community outreach, non-profit management, and executive level support. It makes me happy to help others. It's one of my biggest assets and a common thread throughout my career.
When COVID hit, I was one of the many casualties of the big layoff. I didn't know what to do with myself. My feelings of directionless-ness were at an all time high.
I didn't want to pick just any job for the sake of income. I wanted to do something that would give me more control of my time, which I believe is one of life's most precious resources. Since I was a teenager, I've wanted to own my own business, I just never knew how to monetize my skills.
That is, until I saw a need to help a shy artist turn his hobby into a business. I decided to bootstrap this endeavor because I'm 1000% convinced Adrian has the talent and where-with-all to be successful in this arena and I'm 1000% convinced that I can help him get there while further developing myself personally and professionally.
I believe all of my experiences have prepared me for this challenge and that every decision I've made has placed me right where I belong - no matter how hard it can sometimes be.
Our goal is to get Adrian's art out into the world. Our dream is to make art and DBAL a life-long career. I hope you'll join us on this journey and cheer us on as it unfolds.
